Champlain Valley Stars was established from a simple belief: every athlete deserves the chance to experience all star cheer and cheerleading, regardless of financial barriers or prior experience. In Vermont, opportunities for cheer can be limited by geography, cost, or access to training, and we identified a need for a program that could help bridge those gaps.
Our organization was founded to expand access to cheerleading by offering affordable, development-focused opportunities for athletes at all levels, including those interested in Rec cheerleading. We focus on building strong fundamentals, confidence, and adaptability, helping athletes grow not only as cheerleaders but also as teammates and leaders.
Champlain Valley Stars is dedicated to supporting the broader cheer community while creating pathways for athletes to explore new roles, gain experience, and continue developing their skills. Through thoughtful programming, fundraising efforts that reduce tuition costs, and community support, we strive to make cheerleading more accessible across Vermont.
At its core, Champlain Valley Stars is about opportunity, growth, and belonging — giving athletes a place to shine, learn, and reach their potential.

We’re already looking ahead to the 2027–2028 season and would love to hear from families who may be interested in joining Champlain Valley Stars!
Athletes of ALL ages are encouraged to fill out the interest form. Our current teams serve athletes ages 7–18, but as our program continues to grow, we would love to expand our team offerings to include additional age groups.
For the 2027–2028 season, we are also planning to shift our competitive season to approximately August through March. This change will help us better accommodate busy summer schedules while also giving our teams access to more competition opportunities during the winter and spring.
Completing this form does not commit you to the season — it simply helps us understand interest, age groups, potential team sizes, and how we can continue growing the program.
We’re so excited to see what Year 2 brings for CV Stars! 💙⭐

No! Our CV Stars has strong ties to both of these programs. Many coaches are affiliated with these teams, and intend to continue these programs as usual. This means schedule will be built to not conflict with those practices and events to the best of our ability.
Reach out! We are looking to build a strong accessible program to serve as many students we can. Please let us know if you have a known conflict and we can determine to our best ability if our program is a good fit for you and your family.
We are committed to building a strong cheer community and understand that transportation can be a challenge for some families. Champlain Valley Stars will work with parents and coaches to help coordinate carpool opportunities so every athlete has the chance to participate.
